Agreed, very nice there dude.
Preparation will only take you so far. After that you've got to take a few leaps of faith.

Pretty good stuff. But one thing is sometimes you're player effects don't match the background very well, ie. a very soft, flowing background with a duplicated player pic set to overlay. And why are the 'wallpapers' so small?

Favourites:
Wade - http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y125/- ... dwyane.jpg

Crawford - http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y125/- ... JCcopy.jpg
That background is fantastic. Fix up the text and add a simple gradient overlay or something to Jamal and it would be ill.

McGrady WP - http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y125/- ... racyv2.jpg

Penny - http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y125/- ... /Penny.jpg

Carmelo - http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y125/- ... lowall.jpg

the walls are small because when you upload on Photobucket it turns all gay and resises them unde rthey are under 250kb..... so lots of my more detailed ones get shrunk till they r tiny

@Jugs, tht font is called 4990810...........wierd name but yeah

Wheew, beautiful (y)

I'm pretty fond of this one: http://photobucket.com/albums/y125/-jun ... Csigv2.jpg

But I really like the Penny Hardaway and T-Mac wallpapers that Colin mentioned.

Funny, that was one of the ones I was thinking of with that 'player effects' comment. The background has very soft curving edges, the font is script, and then T-Mac is hard and rigid looking.

It is, indeed a nice contrast :) It goes well with T-Mac's toughness, but also his fluid and graceful style of play.

Great stuff (Y) You've got a lot of skill, are you really interested in artistic stuff, or is it just a hobby?

I actually thought it didn't look that good and made the sig not flow and fit together as nicely.
