Nintendo Revolution Controller

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

You ever think about representing Nintendo? You're doing a good job.

I think one problem with Gamecube was that it didnt have a large selection of games like PS 2 and Xbox. All in all 360 will be the best out of the 3. No question about it. And Bang.. Halo is an amazing game.. maybe YOU should try playin it ;)

I have played Halo...almost everyday for a year..which made me get sick of it. It was fun for a while, but after a year of only Halo, it gets boring...And none of those guys bothered to play any other game...

Well I play PS2 games as well. Such as Winning Eleven, which is probably one of my favorite games. (I also have it for the Cube.) However, I love 1st party nintendo games like Smash Bros and other nintendo exclusives more..
Bored.

Oh, yes for kids... yes. Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes, Eternal Darkness, Killer 7, etc.

Is Mario ONLY FOR kids ? Is Zelda ? Is Metroid ? ... So, that way PC is too for kids games, because has Barbie's and Teletubbies and Mickey Mouse's games, no ?

Don't start with the stupid thing of : Nintendo is only for little kids... If you see all the games I have for my game cube, or for example the 32 games that my friend Alexis have, we don't have any of those games for little kids.

We have Tony Hawk, 1080º Snowboarding, Dave Mirra's, NBA Live, Metal Gear, Metroid, Mario Sunshine, NBA Street...

The whole kids argument is dumb, but GC does have a style of games which I and many others don't like. I actually liked Metroid, but I don't like other games like Zelda (which Nintendo faithful love).

this is how it could be..

movement would be controlled by the analog nunchuck attachment

passing you'd point to the player and press A.. while doing that you could flick up or down to indicate a lob or a bounce pass..

shooting you'd hold the trigger on pointer and simulate the shot urself or the layup or the dunk.. imagine having a dunk contest where it wasn't a series of buttons that you pressed or analog sticks that you twirled, but instead your own movements that determined the dunk.. the timing, the power, the punctuation was yours, instead of a computers interpretation of your pressing buttons..

.. or a 3 point where instead of pushing a button you knock down the first rack with steely straight line precision but the next 3 balls you hook to the right..

freestyle moves could be performed by movements of the pointer.. like a spin move you'd spin the pointer.. a crossover you'd make a figure 8.. and when back down you could determine when you shoved off at just the right moment

the rest I'll leave for your imagination.. but clearly these are controls that have far reaching possibilities that foster a greater sense of immersion and new levels of responsiveness
