Help

I just want to ask how to blend the background color of this forum to my sig? I'm only a newbie in regards to photoshop. Tnx.

Make the background transparent. I don't know if there's tutorials or something around, but Colin and co. will be able to tell you how to do it properly.

In Photoshop, delete every part of the sig that you want to be transparent (so you'll see the grey-white background on those spots), then save as .png.
I don't know which Photoshop version you have, but you should look for PNG-8 128-Dithered (PNG-24 won't work on these forums).

I use photoshop v7.0. I also tried that transparent thing and it didnt work.

Make sure when you create your image the background field is set to transparent, not to white or black. And make sure you're saving the exact way ceekay said.

Tnx. I'll try it now. I have tried it using png but the file size is too big. Is there anyway i can minimize it?
I have done it! Finally... Tnx a lot for the tips. Anyways whats the meaning of interlace?

You have to specify a file size (in pixels) before creating a new image. Or if you want to change the size of the image, you can always "resize" or "crop"

I'm not too sure what "interlace" means, but I don't think that's too important at this point... unless it deals with .png files, which I don't really use yet.
