TO leaves eagles camp

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) -- A day after they booted Terrell Owens out of training camp, the Philadelphia Eagles took an even harder stance on their star's contract dispute:

T.O. can play for the Eagles or he won't play at all.

Team president Joe Banner said Thursday that when the banished wide receiver returns to camp next week, it will be without the new contract he desperately wants and with an understanding that he can no longer become a disruption.

Fuck yeah. If anyone is reading this right now, there's a TO interview coming up soon at halftime of the Packers-Chargers preseason game on ESPN, and he says he's not holding anything back. Damn that motherfucker if he says anything offensive to the Eagles.

He signed a perfectly good contract before, and he knew what he was getting into. I doubt the Falcons want to mess with everything that comes with TO, especially what they've seen now. That goes for the rest of the NFL as well.

Here's a summary of what TO said in the interview, the most that I can remember. TO said that the altercation started when Andy Reid talked to him in private about him missing an autograph session. At one point, Andy Reid told TO to shut up. TO's response was for Andy to shut up, and that he was a grown man. Andy then left, angrily, and TO went about the rest of his business. Next, Andy's assistant called TO into Andy's office. Andy told him that he would need to be more communative(sp) with his teammates and coaches. TO then said that he was not "Terrell Reid", he was Terrell Owens, and he's not Andy's child. Then he was dismissed.

He continued talking (with frequent interruptions by Drew Rosenhaus, who added in comments to make Terrell sound like the victim) about how he had said he wouldn't be happy, and how he deserves to be paid within the top 10 recievers in the NFL. He also said that even though his $49 million dollar contract sounds large, he only gets a certain amount per year, and it's not garunteed. He also said that he put his career on the line for the Eagles in the super-bowl, and he did it for the fans.

But he mostly repeated that he did it to prove everyone wrong, everyone who doubted him. In short, because he's a selfish cocky sonofabitch.

He's 30. He'll be paid 7mil per year for the next 6 years. 3rd best paid receiver in the league... The only gripe with that deal and any deal in the NFL, is that it is NOT guaranteed. The team can cut you at any time, and the only money you'll get in your pocket is the signing bonus.

But as for Terrell Owens, bitching and whining don't maake things better... Although I hope he sits out the season and let McNabb pass the ball at his HalfBack most of teh time... I hate the friggin' Eagles...

Playmakers.. its about a professional football team and the lives of the players and the drama surrounding professional athletes.. from drugs, sex, money and fame.. one of the best shows on right now Omar Gooding stars in it.. airs on showcase here which is the Canadian affiliate to HBO.

We already had that. It was on ESPN for a year, taken off cause it put the NFL in a negative light.

Didnt they even release a dvd for the first season???
