Adidas to buy Reebok

If that deal goes through, that'll be one hell of a merger. Reebok appeared to be declining with less ads and popularity, imo, but I have no idea if they were losing profit internationally, though.

Declining? Not true.. they just struck a huge hockey deal man. Reebok is crazy in hockey right now.. they even sponsor Sidney Crosby and are a sponsor in the NHL and major junior hockey leagues.
Preparation will only take you so far. After that you've got to take a few leaps of faith.

I think it's a case of the reputation making the current product look a lot better to the average consumer. Nike's benefited from having some very marketable athletes under contract in the last couple of decades, so I suppose their reputation for designing shoes suitable for the top athletes precedes them, suggesting they could never come up with an inferior design or product.

How do they suck for basketball? Have you ever even warn a pair? You problably haven't, they're 100% fine. I don't see how any shoe is really bad for playing basketball, unless it's low cut or from a running brand like New Balance.

I wore a pair of running shoes once for basketball just to test it out, the shoes weighed absolutely nothing.. honestly the shoe box weighed about 10 times heavier then the actual shoes. It was like playing in socks. Anyways I rolled my ankle about 9 times in the game and took them back to the shop.
