Does anyone notice this?

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Does anyone notice this?

Try going to the Profile page where you upload an avatar and sig and look at the left bottom most corner of the page. There is an ad link. I'm just wondering who put that link there, the NLSC mods or the host server? Why put a link in an unnoticeable position? Doesn't it defeat the purpose of having an ad link that is supposed to be noticed. :?

Lmao, there is an adlink at the bottom of normal posts too. So if you hit the post button, there will be one too.

It's the new plan of the NLSC. The new hosts required the NLSC to put something on the site in return for hosting. You shouldn't be complaining about the less visibleness, you should be rejoicing.

It will randomly show up on any page in the forum. It's part of our hosting agreement.

Ah-k. Guess I'm a bit suspicious or paranoid. :shifty:

I'm not complaining, just curious about it because it's unnoticeable. If I were the host I would want a more visible ad link. Guess Andrew outsmarted them? :proud:

Not at all; our current host is really good about ads, in fact it was James from SGN's choice to put the forum ad link where it is. If we have to display any ads more prominently it won't be a problem; we made allowances for it when we were doing the new design.
