Wow. When I switched on the TV they were down 3-1, Smicer scored about 10 seconds later and all of a sudden they'd got a penalty and levelled it up 3-3. They won on penalties, and for some bizarre reason my Australian neighbour is running up and down the street singing about it at 7am in the morning

How lucky could Liverpool get???!!!!
AC Milan had few close shots that didn't go in, all were touched or blocked by Dudek who was sensational. He was on fire. When the game went to penalties, Dudek saved alot.

Well, Liverpool's spending paid off! :lol:

Too bad aussie Kewell weren't part of this.

i lost $20 cos of AC....they were up 3-0, i turn off the TV go to bed and send my buddy an SMS "haha, easy money"....later i wake up check my phone and he sent the same thing back.

that Schevchenko chance in ET should have been a goal, it was practically point blank. This game was awesome, brings back memories of other great games like Liverpool vs Olympiakos where once again Liverpool score 3 in the second half and also Man U vs Real where Beckham scores 3 off the bench

Oh what the fuck, they've taken it down. That thread was a cult classic amongst football forums. At 3-0 they were all posting shit like "Championees! Championees!' and going on about how great Milan are, then the posts gradually turnt into this big mass depression with them demanding Shevchenko be sold.

Further proof, my mum's best friend who is a mad Bulldogs fan and New South Welsh..er..woman... , was so outraged by the Billy Slater knock on no-call she turnt the TV off and didn't watch the rest of the match. So essentially because of one borderline decision, she missed one of the best state of origin games ever.

but back to the Origin, the Slater decision might have been borderline but was cancelled out by the 2 tries that NSW scored in the 2nd half on forward passes (one of them was blatantly a metre or so forward)....
