The best concert of my life. It totally blew me away. If you even remotely like their music, I recommend that you try and get your hands on tickets for when (and if) they come to your area.
It was my first U2 concert. My dad was a huge fan, seen them once per every tour, and his love was starting to wear off on me a few years ago -- after Elevation.
The atmosphere was awesome. The Fleet Center was packed -- obviously since tickets sold out in 10 minutes. Me and my dad were in the balcony, 300 section, but with the Fleet Center, there isn't a "bad seat." We saw the end of the opening act, Kings Of Leon. They were pretty good.
They opened with City Of Blinding Lights, a fantastic opener due to its unbelievable studio intro. Bono is a madman. After that, they went to Vertigo and Elevation -- two songs that really got the crowd up/
Then it got weird. I was expecting it since I had read about it from previous concerts this tour, but they played The Ocean and The Electric Co., two songs from their first album(I think in the late 70s, maybe early 80s) that no one knew the words to. It was kind of awkward but we all got over it.
They then went on to play Beautiful Day, Miracle Drug, and Somtimes You Can't Make It On Your Own. The Edge goes crazy on Miracle Drug -- truly breathtaking. SYCMIOYO is about Bono's father. You'd think that after twenty-seven shows, he's stop putting the same emotion into it that he usually did, but not so. It still left some people teary-eyed. They then sang Love and Peace or Else, a great political rocker.
Then came the songs that everyone wanted to hear -- the classics. Sunday Bloody Sunday, followed by Bullet The Blue Sky, followed by Running To Stand Still, followed by Pride, and then Where The Streets Have No Name. Edge still does that little jig he's always been doing during Bloody Sunday. Streets got the crowd at its highest due to its absolutely incredible intro.
They then closed off with One, with Bono telling people to take their cell phones out and text this number with your name(related to those commercials you see with all the celebrities saying one word in a speech about AIDS).
But it's not over, ENCORES! The first encore featured a threesome from Achtung Baby -- Zoo Station(probably the coolest intro of all), The Fly, and Mysterious Ways. During the Fly, they flased phrases on the screen -- sexual innuendos, catchphrases, slang, etc -- the same way they did during the Zoo TV Tour.
The second encore started with All Because Of You, their second single off the new album. They then did a cool acoustic to Yahweh, and finally closed it off with "40", the last song off of their War album.
To restate, this was one of the best nights of my life. U2 rocks my world.

Damn, that sounds like an awesome concert.
I really like U2, wish I could've been there.
How much did the ticket cost you?
