I'm not sure what the area around them is like, but it seems like you get a good deal for the last link. Looks real nice inside, maybe get a new oven. :D

I actually like what CoolMac said. Try to get in touch with someone that lives in Indiana to get some general perception of the different areas.

That being said, the first, second and third looks like it would cost you more than the actuall school would.
I'd go with the second or third if the price is somewhat simular, and if I'd have to choose between those two, I'd go with the third one...

yeah appartments suck.
Around here in wisconsin they are around 500 a month for a crummy one. Id rather have a little house that i could fix up and own! not just rent. I think appartments are a waste of money because you dont get to own them, not like a house. But then there is all that extra shit you have to pay for when you own a home. Lifes a bitch if you dont have a great job.
This sig was too offensive for the kids.

I wouldn't rule out the other ones....check out a lot....and just because it looks nice in pics doesn't mean it will have a good feel for it....if you can get one with more floor space, that would be preferable as a really small apartment will have you and your Mrs. bouncing off the walls and driving each other insane....

let's see....

3rd one listed has gas (Y) , dishwasher (Y) , air conditioning (Y) , pool (Y) , price :|
and they are only showing pics for more luxurious one....if you are going with say Model 1B (the cheap option) then you will be in a shoebox....

1st one has gas (Y) , air-con, dishwasher, washer, dryer (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) , separate kitchen and spacious closets (Y) (Y) price is slightly cheaper than 3rd one but slightly more floorspace

2nd one doesn't tell us much, but is too expensive as you don't want a studio apartment (N) I'd forget the 2nd one....

check out 1 and 3 plus many others....you'll know when time comes....IMHO weigh up price, amenities, proximity to public transport/uni/city/Reggie Miller's house/etc, floor space and you'll be fine....either way it doesn't really matter too much as the Mrs. always has the final say

good luck with your hunt....I bought a house because I was sick of the renting game, but I'm sure you'll find something nice....

Price is the most important thing. Money is alot more difficult to manage then people realise. I'm assuming this is your first house together, so make it something you're comfortable in first and foremost and also make sure that it's close to what you need like X mentioned.

Obi-Wan: "You were the CHOSEN ONE!!!"

Lol, I thought the best line in the movie was

"You were supposed to destroy the Sith, not join them!"

That cracked me up at the time.

thanks for the advice guys,

all of them are pretty close to the town in area, I actually have a pretty good feel about where all of them are. The area for the first one is my favorite, area of the second one is the worst because its location is like a short drive to the downtown area.

Wisconsin is a bad place to live judging by when I went up there around 7 times to visit my cousins. It's rarely really nice up there weather wise and the water is real bad. I can't speak for other cities in Wisconsin, but Kenosha isn't a great place to live  That's why my other cousins want to move down here so bad because my auntie and her husband already moved down to Memphis after living in Winsconsin for most of their lives.

Area's pretty much everyone once you've got the money situation sorted. When I was house hunting I found two or three places that were a bit better looking than the one I eventually settled for, but they were further out from the city. It's good to have everything immediate, I mean I'm 5 minutes from pretty much everything I need and about 30 seconds from a basketball court. What it comes down to is how you prioritise, since you drive maybe distance isn't so much of a problem... but the area impacts the longevity of the house big time. Especially where crime is concerned. When you're living on your own (or with someone your own age) getting broken into or whatever can really shake your confidence.
