GTA San Andreas on PC?

I heard somewhere long time ago, that Rocksar games are planning to release GTA SA on PC. is it true? cuz I just can't wait to get my hands on it!

about at the same time, before the release of vice city i was crazy about the game
i wanted it so bad that i had dreams about it and finally when i got it i was like a
little kid on christmas day, but few days later i cooled down and realized that the
game wasn't as good as i expected and as it promised to be, so this time i'm keeping
my opinion neutral, not that anxious...

IMO GTA 3 is still the best in all the series..........LASLO was the bomb.....and so was the guy named fernando and his new beginnings........ :lol:

PC Coming Soon! Expected:
June 7th, 2005 (USA)
June 10th, 2005 (EU/AU)

The draw distance will be considerably higher.
You can forget washed out textures from the PlayStation 2 version. Textures and graphics will be much sharper and provide a whole new graphical experience.
Real reflections and shadows are claimed to be present.
The PC version will allow you to import your own MP3 for listening on the radio. You will also be able to specify an MP3 folder on your hard disk to be played in radio mode, ie. with DJ commentary and weather reports inbetween tracks.
The latest information indicates that the PC version is 90% complete.

San Andreas only needs an ATI Radeon 9600 or a nVidia 5-something rather video card for PC which is great news!

that's a pretty steep requirement.. which is good news for me and my 256mb MSi Radeon x800 pro.. hopefully that translates to much larger textures.. man I'm so desperate for this game.. got a ps2 but I knew that this game like the other GTA's was truly intended to be enjoyed on PC.. ffs get me in a coma.. I CANT STANDS THE WAIT!!!!
