wow, PS3 To Debut Next Week

SCEA has announced today that next week, during the GDC (Game Developer Conference) for 2005, they will debut their new console, which is currently called the Playstation 3. This will be Sony's biggest launch at this conference in history, and they will show a huge lineup, including new PSP items, new Eyetoy accessories, and new PS2 hardware.

What next week? Thats a little to early, they could have given us a sneek peek at thier console and stuff before the debut, like ps2. They showed comercials and stuff before it was even heard of. Is this the release to the public????

The thing I'm worried about in the psp is the battery life, they expect it to be around 2 hours, which isnt good. I'll probably get one, but I might wait. I'm more interested to see what the ps3 has to offer.

This is just a debut of a concept model or something closed to completion infront of a bunch of businesses. This does not mean you will be able to go out and buy it next week.

Actually i knew that this release wasn't for the public because if it was they would have shown comercials and stuff. I was saying it in a sense meaning to the public as like ppl can see the Ps3 without buying it and stuff. Like they had the PsP in the E3 convention.

Instead of a PS2, I waited for a Gamecube and was horribly disappointed, I'll take a serious look at the PS3.
