Counter-Strike

Anyone here ever played Counter-Strike? I was just wondering as I used to play it, and it can be a very fun game. FYI, it's an FPS (first person shooter) that is played a lot of places around the world and there are some very large cash tournaments for it, and some people even make a living playing it.

Yea, my friend is a CS freak. I never played it cause i dont have a cd-key But my friend plays it 24/7 he is ranked top 50 in the city (Toronto)

Its old now, but i have played it. I like Halo 2 better.

Yeah, I used to play it competitively online, but ended up quitting mostly because it took up a lot of my time. It is pretty old, but they're coming out with newer versions of it and slowly making them mainstream (even though they are much worse than the older versions and many players are complaining).

it used to be the thing here. everyone even those who never played fps's or video games started playing it. i was just average at it. never got into it as much as most people.

nowadays, people are playing the Death of the Ancients map for warcraft. it's the new thing here. imagine a map that makes warcraft play like a multiplayer diablo getting so much popularity. i know some people who never sleep because of that

CS: Source doesn't seem to be doing to good here. maybe coz of how the half life 2 engine seems needs good specs

my A-TEAM used to be one of the best teams online/tournaments when the beta 5 version of that game came out.
right after the real version(one) was release we all graduated and alongside our counterstrike playing days.

i still play with it. sometimes with my friends/girlfriend. but not that much anymore

Everbody played that game here.I mean everyone...6,7....37 years.It doesn't matter.I was solid at it.But I have a couple of friend,man,they are freaking awsome.
