sorry to revive a dead thread......but an exciting series is abt to start...
Aussies vs Kiwis.........its always a good series to watch.....
sadly Shane Bond isnt there.....the Aussies have a woeful record against the Kiwis whenver he plays......anyhow Fleming has been in some sick form n Vettori is fast becoming an all rounder.
as for the aussies.....its all about Clarke......hes become a monster....definitely the next Baggy Green Captain in the making......but Hayden is struggling.....think they need to drop him and bring Bevan back...
tmrw.....I think the Kiwis will get the victory......but I think it'll be a nail bitter.
The X.....u better comment.....your the only other Kiwi fan in here(only New Zealander I think)
.....n is Shane Bond gonna comeback for the Test Series.....or is he just waiting to knock the Lankans lights out when we come there in April.

sadly, Bevan will never be back in the Aussie team....
as for the Kiwis, I'm surprised we lost the 20-20 game in those stylish beige uniforms and afros....it was great....while I'm not yet a fan of 20-20 (seems like too much of a slogfest and not enough strategy), if they have 70s hairdo's and headbands, then I'll watch
Bondy....we are waiting....I can wait longer for his return as long as when he comes back he can put in a few good years before retirement....I really can't see him playing for more than a few more years just due to injury which is unfortunate
as for the series, I dunno....I actually think Aussies might get up in it, just a feeling though, still want Kiwis to get up....Aussie will win in the deciding match....
there's one other Kiwi on NLSC that I know of, Match66 from Ash-vegas....he's cool, although he mostly just posts in dynasty and Live-related questions rather than dabbling in cricket, etc....

ohhh forgot Match_66....he use to be in a sim league with me ....
another series.....I think its actually bigger than the Ashes simply because of the passion behind it......is the Paki-India series.....India should win but Sachin could be out....big blow for India.....but it will prolly be a tight series because theirs just so much flare behind it.....its prolly one of the most fired up sports rivalries around the world.

nope, Bond is 30 this year 
he was a late bloomer and didn't get noticed and didn't develop until his mid 20s....Richard Hadlee started late and look what happened to him....talking about Hadlee, that Chris Cairns mo' looks like it's str8 out of a NZ Sports Museum (the Hadlee Mo')

yeah, my mate was telling me Marshall took a great catch....
my mate is a huge cricket buff, loves the sport 1000 times more than me....he's an Aussie who doesn't like the current Aussie team (outside of Gillespie, Kaspa and McGrath)....he said it's hard to root for them at the mo....
but the word from him is that Shane Bond is bowling quickly again, at least 150km/hr.... I pity the local ChCh boys
