As I said, my friend has some family over there, an uncle to be exact so we thought it'd be quite fun, ofcourse our parents aren't giving us permission but this coming summer all of us will be 18, anyways, I'll take all your warnings into consideration.

It still sounds exciting to me.

The National Firearms Association contends the number is between seven million and nine million, or nearly one person in three. The federal government commissioned public-opinion surveys three years ago that concluded there were 3.3 million gun-owning Canadians.

And the stats to back me up. Thanks Andreas.

Constipated Cosby of course. That expression makes me laugh, even if it's not vibrating.

I wasn't trying to help you...
I was aware that 1/3 isn't the majority of the population, but if you consider how many of those are actually allowed to own guns (children and so on) and have licenses for them (since those are the only ones that are in the official records), I'm pretty sure it goes over the 50% mark. And even if it doesn't, you don't think that if a third of the entire population has guns it's very high? It's enormous...

Well, I have never met anyone in the city who owns a gun. And the ammount of gun-related crimes in Canada is small. I don't have stats though. A bunch of those gun owners are hunters in the interior and in the praries.
