Computer Nerds... I need help

Postby Username123 on Sun Jan 30, 2005 10:51 am

OK for almost a month my MSN Messenger is not working. It gives me an error saying,

"Sorry we are unable sign you in the NET. Messenger service at that time. Please try again later. 80072f0d"

I am using msn v7.0 I also tried using 6.2 but gives the same problem. Also i got a second problem, i cant click on the emoticons on this site. You know when you click on them it gives you the code on the message body. When i click on it nothing happens, i have to type it my self.

I have more computer problems but dont want to tell them all, so if anyone can help me that would be nice.

I got another problem my internet is not working now!!!! I think this is because i was doing something in the Internet Options tab, i remembering clicking SSL thing off to work my msn but after that my internet stopped working. The other computers hooked up with the router are working, but my comp. has no internet. I am using a different computer rite now....

I don't know what your problem could be, but I really doubt that it's the SSL tab since that just ensures that the data you send goes to the correct server and to nowhere else (shopping site and such uses it often).

You must have done something else to make it not work. What kind of internet do you got by the way?
Perhaps if you call your internet provider they can get to the bottom of what the problem is, that's why they're there.

I called my Internet provider people they said that that was the routers problem not the internets. I use cable internet, well i just have to wait 2 months till i get my new computer.

The router is not a part of the compter...
It's like a box that decides where your (internet)data is going to be sent, to what location (computer). It's the thing that allows you to have the both computers working on the internet without having to switch anything. But since one of the computer's internet acces actually works, there should just be a setting that is wrong on your computer or on the router. Perhaps you could check out the manual if you're desperate to get it fixed...
