I can tell you've never been a parent, you can't take a parents' place unless you've been one... I am not one, so I cannot imagine the immense joy a person gets when seeing his offspring for the first time. A newly born kid can be the reason to get off drugs, or even to think about suicide twice. I happen to have a close friend that went through that, I am no just fuckin blabbering.
BTW, if you're a parent (which I hope you're not), I pity your kids.

I don't agree with Riot, but having never had a child and not knowing what it's like whatsoever (the whole pride thing etc)... I'd have to say I wouldn't be able to deal with it. I mean i've already got a really weak stomach as it is (you wouldn't believe some of the things that can make me ill ) so I honestly can't see how I'd be able to look at the baby every day.... that being said that would probably all change if it was actually my baby, because I'd imagine the feelings would be different.
