Online Poker

Any online poker players around here? I just started playing Texas Hold'em a few days ago with http://www.pokerstars.com im new to the game but I understand all the rules, strategy etc. I just play with fake/play money at the moment since I have no experience with the game.

If you do play, I would like to hear where you play and some stories about big wins, losses etc.

I started at 1000 chips, got up to around 20,000 so I decided to move up to a higher stakes table, a few good breaks and I was up 50,000. From there on a got a lot of crap hands, folded early lot. I finally got a couple decent hands decided to go for a lot a couple times and I ended up losing some very close hands. I got the dreaded pocket queens so I went all in, never got a single card to help me on the river and lost it all. 50gs down the drain. Now im back at the beginners table lol.

I used to play Paradise Poker before. I don't do that much anymore though.
I was a little bit addicted to it even though I wasn't that good at it. And now that you mention it, I shall return to my addiction (thanks a lot ).

If some people are intrested maybe we could set up a turnament or something like that with the NLSC...

I'd be down for a tournament.

i dont think its illegal to play fake money poker, real money poker i tihnk its illegal however, if i'm wrong then... oh well

I think most of those internet poker programs require that your over 18. Whether it's with real money or not doesn't matter, It's still gambling I think. I'm not sure though...

We got 3 so far, to have a good game u need 8 players just for 1 table. We have to crown the NLSC poker champ

I'm a pretty decent poker player... I've made some money at casinos here in the US... problem is, I'm not 21 yet so I can't go to the good casinos here. I did play Poker Stars before, but I don't play too much anymore.
