I recently brought my ps2 out of retirment and put it in another room in my house, and I couldnt resist playing a game of Madden 2001, my first game for the ps2. I was the titans (my favourite nfl team) and against the rams, and i won 28-24 on a last minute touchdown. It was so much fun, i decided to start a dynasty for old times sake.

I suggest that you never throw the ball, Neal leading for old-skool Eddie George is lethal. What kind of overall is Benji Olson at?

I didnt check, I think he's around an 80 overall... I'll post it before next recap
Titans @ Bills
The game started off with Buffalo winning the toss and electing to recieve. Rob Johnson lead the bills on an opening drive which saw them get inside the 5 but the Titans defense was rock solid on their goal line, and forced a feild goal. On my first drive, I threw a play action pass to Wycheck for 15 yards, then had back to back runs with george for a combined 27 yards. Eddie breaks tackles brilliantly in this game, and I threw a screen pass to him which he bulldozed in for a td, and we were up 7-3 at the end of one. After that it turned into a battle of defenses, but i was able to get a fg just before halftime to be up 10-3.
On the first drive of the second half, i went back to establishing the run. Eddie wasn't quite as effective as in the first quarter, but he still kept the drive going. We had it up to the buffalo 30 yard line before a pass to Thigpen was deflected into the hands of George who ran it in and made it a 17-3 lead. The Bills then had a 3 and out and forced a punt, which was returned by Mason back to the Buffalo 40 yard line, which ended up being converted into another McNair TD pass, this time to Erron Kenney. Up 24-3, Buffalo went on a drive from the kickoff which put them back in the red zone, but Blain Bishop picked off a potentail TD pass and we won convincingly, 24-3.
Player of the Game:
Steve McNair
192 yards, 11-17
3 td, 0 interceptions
142.6 rating
Next up is Kansas City. I wonder if their offense is as good as it is todays and their defense is as bad.
