After making a nice little trade on the sim league at nbalive.org, i couldn't help but to check out some threads to see how things are over there, when I came accross this

Actually I'm just part of the patching team, but I haven't released any patches there yet, and I don't really need to because of 4th-quarter.net. If benji doesn't want my help, hat's fine, but just know I'm willing to help.

Just out of curiousity, do you intend on producing any patches while you're here? You haven't yet, and you dont sound too keen on doing so. If not, why waste peoples time and apply for a "position" and have no intentions to work form once you get the job?

Actually I just noticed this thread today, so I'll say my piece now.

I already explained why I'm part of several sites, but since you weren't listening, I'll say it again.

I started out with no hosts, then Mikki invited me to become a member of 4th-quarter.net, which had server problems on and off for months. I released a bunch of 04 patches there, and helped Mikki with moderating. It is still my main host, and the only one I have released patches on for 05.

I also joined the Remix-Team, when Little Big Man invited me, as a temporary member while 4th-quarter.net was down. I haven't released a patch there in several months, and neither has anyone else. I am no longer a patcher for that site.

I am a part time moderator with Mikki at nbafiles.com, because we expected more activity on that site than there has been. If the uploading process explanations became too much for Mikki, I said I would help out, but hardly anyone releases patches there anyway, and Mikki has done it all himself. I barely visit that site anymore, and am not needed as a mod or anything else. don't consider me part of that site anymore, unless a flurry of patchers decide to host there and Mikki needs help, which I don't see happening.

I am part of NLSC patching team, because I thought this might hep my tutorials reach a lrger audience. So far I only have one out, but I'm still working on a cyberface tutorial, and David and I have been looking through many different 3D editing programs to find a solution to the headshape editing limits of this year. we are closer than we have ever been, and I expect that this issue will be resolved in upcoming months, and I will put together a tutorial for that as well. I also have a few cyberface WIP that are nearing completion, so a mirrored download always helps, just in case. I freely admit that I'm not patching as much as I intended to when Andrew added me to the team. I'll try and fix that. If Andrew wants to take me off the team, he's got every right to do it.

Hope this clears a few things up.
And if indeed you believe I am a whore, then go convince Andrew to kick me off the patching team. My intention was never to get on as many sites as possible, just to help out people and sites that had helped me when I got into patching.

Nope, "for my sake," I intend to help with patching issues that are brought up, and I'll help any way I can, whether it be tutorials or just responding to posts. Strange that someone who helps with patching issues would be on something called a "Patching Team." Weird, huh? If Andrew doesn't want me after hearing this, that's fine.

I'm not going to lie, I prefer dotorg, but I'm beginning to be swayed. If you read my posts on both sites, I'm a very sarcastic S.O.B. and I badmouth things on both sites. No ones perfect.
I'm definitely not in love with benji or David. I don't even like benji, and he's made it clear before he doesnt really like me. I respect him as a patcher, but he's not very helpful when he posts. David's a cool guy, but I don't swing that way. I just mentioned him because he and I talk often about developing a headshape editor, and have suggested new programs or sites to each other.

I've mentioned several times why I wanted to be a member. To help out a site that helped me a lot when I was getting into patching, and I want to help out with the changing patching issues, as lots of problems have arisen from the changing formats of 04 to 05.

How is it that I'm making things look worse? All I'm doing is asking you if you actually intend on relelasing patches here. As for what you intend to do here, I doubt you told andrew that you were joining just to promote tutorials, seeing that he listed you as a patchmaker primarily. Andrew is no idiot, nor is he sly. He wouldn't list you as a patchmaker if you applied by saying "I just want to promote my tutorials". Simple.

It's not that I don't want to patch for this site, but I don't see what I would patch other than players, cuz that's mainly what I do. I don't think a spot on the main page should be taken up with a simple player release.

I don't patch players that much anymore, mainly due to the lack of a headshape editor. I'm not focusing on that right now. What I am trying to do is help others patch with tutorials, so your request and patching forums arent as fucked up as they are right now.

I said I would be patching, but I didn't really need to release patches here because I have 4th-quarter.net. Please don't put words in my mouth. If you would rather my title be changed to "Patching Issues Team Member," I have no problem with that. I just don't see a huge difference. I would've still made patches and tutorials even if I wasn't part of some team.

I knew about the tutorials, but I was under the impression you'd be releasing more patches, hosted at the NLSC. If that isn't really what you plan on doing, then perhaps a different title/role would be more appropriate. I guess there was just a miscommunication when we spoke about you joining the team, but if you let me know your plans as far as releasing patches and so forth (either publically or privately, at your convenience) so that I could know exactly what access you need and what role you have, it would be most appreciated.
