Shaky screen in Firefox

Tue Dec 07, 2004 9:56 am

Every time i start up Firefox now the screen shakes up and down. Theres no adware, spyware or viruses, and theres no shortcut keys that would be affecting this, and it doesnt happen in Explorer.
Anyone experienced this and know what to do?

whats the version?

I dunno I use 0.8 and the only time it gets stuck is when I goto a site full of flash movies etc...like that stupid Linkin Pork site (n)

edit : ive never experienced flickering.....did u go to any microsoft sites and accept cookies cause I heard their on some sorta crazy campaign to shut down software(mostly net stuff and office) that they dont give themselves.
Like they blocked off my Office, but luckily my dad put Open Office which kicks Microsoft Office's ass x1000000000000000 !
Try reinstalling it again even...might help

no- it doesn't get stuck, the display literally shakes, and then it flashes off for a moment. then it's fine

It sounds to me like it degausses the screen automaticly for some reason... Or does it
If you are running any themes I would recomend that you try it without it. You could also try to turn the bookmark bar off (that probeblly won't work, but it's worth a shot).

I use 1.0 and it works fine, none of the crashes as IE has had for me in the past. Never had any 'flickering' either...
