my favorite is Day Of The Tentacle  but Monkey Island lasted on 4 episodes. I only played the first 2 when I was younger. Man, this is the kind of videogame that make you wanna spend your life playing computer

"How appropriate, you fight like a cow." Does that answer your question? ;)

Monkey Island 2 is probably my favourite. I'm not sure about a fifth game, the adventure game genre is dying or at least not quite what it used to be. Still, the Voodoo Lady made a joke about "an unbreakable five game contract with Lucasarts" in Escape from Monkey Island, so perhaps it will materialise at some point. With Guybrush married to Elaine these days, they might allow you to switch between characters a la Day of the Tentacle (and DOTT's prequel, Maniac Mansion).

cool , those insults r wack ass......but Murray The Skull gotta be the funniest, he drives u just nuts with hes jokes.

Man I so hope they make a 5th one.....as Alex said...u can spend all day playing it cause u dont get tired of the jokes and the laughter....

one thing that was pretty annoying was Monkey Combat, it took along time to figure out and those Ooh, Ah, Yack sounds got stuck in my brain, so much that I thought i was turning into a monkey at one time

The next game who knows, maybe they'll have Threepwood kids  ... Imagine Guybrush a father

The Monkey Island series is by far my most enjoyable adventure game, although Grim Fandango comes a close second. Anyone play Grim Fandango ?

It isnt a shoot em up, I can tell you that. Its an adventure game much like Monkey Island (made by the same people too).

I highly reccomend this game to you.

Go out and buy this game right now
