Stand-up?

Anyone else love it as much as me?

My personal favs are Seinfeld, Chapelle, Carlin, Pryor, Jeremy Hotz (Canadian), Russell Peters (Canadian.)

I bought a DVD of Jerry's "I'm Telling Your For The Last Time" special for 6$ US!!! And I also have the Dave Chapelle HBO special on DVD. Looking forward to being able to see Carlin's latest HBO special.

Jerry Seinfeld is horrifically unfunny. I tried watching his show a few times but the stand up bit at the start made me gag, that being said there's alot of funny stand ups... just a whole lot more non-funny ones.

Not to grave-sig but, last Friday I went and saw the Just For Laughs Comedy Tour. For those of you that don't know, Just For Laughs is a big-ass comedy festival in Montreal every year.
I got to see the two Canadians I mentioned above (Hotz and Peters) and have never laughed so hard in my life. Russel Peters (an East Indian person, refers to himself as a brown person) came on stage did his hello, thank you, then said 'There's a lot of brown people in the audience, is Surrey closed tonight.' Only the couple people from Vancouver will get that.
Or Hotz: "I played some crap board games growing up, like Sorry. The only board game so bad it apologizes: 'I'm sorry I'm such a crap game. Or Battleship, the easiest game ever to cheat at. Uhh E4?...Uh, miss. Shut up you all did it."

Unlike Jae, I love Jerry Seinfeld's stand up more than anything. I really just love the fact that his bits are observations that you always understand, or can relate to. They're nothing you really have to think about.

Anyways, he's my favorite, but I'm also a big fan of Bill Cosby, Robin Williams, and Dave Chappelle.

Since you're Canadian you'll get this one.

Stephen Lynch

my favorite song of his:
She's part girl,
she's part boy.
She's got parts everyone can enjoy.

She's got more,
she's got less.
She's got her manhood tucked in her dress.

Is she a mister,
or is she a miss?
Does she stand up when she's taking a piss?
She's my little girl,
yea, she's my little guy.
When I try to please I get poked in the eye.

She wears lace and she wears flannel.
She watches football and the Lifetime Channel.

What's that bulge under her nightie?
It must be hermaphrodite.

Somethings are white,
somethings are black.
Some girls wear make-up,
mine shaves her back.

She is still beautiful,
she is still fine.
It's too bad her package is bigger than mine.

She can't help her imperfections,
she gets jock itch from her yeast infections.
Who stole all my tightie whities?
It must be hermaphrodite.

Yea, hermaphrodite.
I slip away
I slipped on a little white lie
We've got heads on sticks, You've got ventriloquists
Standing in the shadows at the end of my bed
