Last bump/post.

This game ended up pretty damn good as a spiritual successor for Destruction Derby. No BS, no rubberbanding, just a solid career mode, fun car handling, interesting customization, and anything that ended up being too shallow in the final release can be fixed on the workshop.

What an adventure....this might have been my first "early access" success game....outside of Minecraft. I'm just happy the final product came out as polished as it is, and seeing positive reviews for it too.

If you're into this stuff, enjoy! I can't recommend it enough.

haha not last post. 6.5 years and it's finally out on consoles. Getting 9s from IGN and adding more content for the final release with 2 community tracks becoming official on-disc, and more DLC like a toilet car and the dang beta buggy finally becoming available.

Like I said above, this is by far my first "early access"/Kickstarter success story, and it took FOREVER......

But I easily feel that with all the changes this game went through over these years that I, by far, got more than my money's worth. So I double-dipped on PS4 with the $60 deluxe version ($40 base price), and also going to pick up the season pass on PC.

I frickin love this game.

Destruction Derby? I loved that game back in the day. Is this a racer that encourages taking out opponents? There was a game called Whiplash that I played a lot

Yep, you get XP for hitting others/spinning them out. No rules, just stay on the track.

Gamestop has a pre-owned game sale (buy 2 get 2 free) right now so I may pick this up
