Rebuilding and winning: Titans 'chise in madden 2005

I got this game yesterday and all i can is  . It's fantastic. I was so pumped for espn becuase i liked espn better than madden last year, but madden is so much better i doubt ill buy espn when it gets released here. But nevertheless, my titans franchise:

I started by cutting eddie george and putting him on dallas, and also cutting ricky williams from the dolphins. I really wanted to keep george but he left in the nfl in real life, so i had to do it. In mini camp, Chris Brown (georges replacement) got 3 attribute points, as did Albert Hainsworth and Keith Bullock. Justin Mccarrins got 2 development points. During the pre season I went 3-0-1. The game that was tied didnt go into overtime, is that a bug or is that what happens in preseason: no overtime?

The first game of the season was against the Dolphins, and without Williams, they didnt stand much of a chance. The defense of the titans is very underatted, as is the recievers. We won the game 45-24 on miami's home feild. If Ricky Williams was there.. maybe a different story.

Next game was up against Indy. This was deemed a rivalry game and I was able to raise the ticket prices and bring in more cash. During the loading screen, It shows the recent history when the teams have last played. Nice touch. In the game Andre Dyson picked off Peyton Manning and returned it for a td and we never looked back, building a 31- 6 lead. But then Indy mounted a late comeback and two td's later, it was 31-20 left. Mcnair bailed us out with a td pass to Mason that sealed a 38-20 win.

After indy was another rivarly game: Jacksonville. After starting 2-0 and going undefeated in pre season, my team prestige rating is on full. We scored on our first drive, but the Jags bounced back and produced a 70 yard drive which game them a feild goal and the score was 7-3. After that tho, it was clear sailing. Chris Brown had his first 100 yard game and Mcnair had a great game going long to Mason and Mccarins. Drew Bennent is effective in the slot and rookie tight end Troupe is a good reciever.

I might post some individual player stats later. (Y)

I havent noticed it to be honest. The game between jacksonville and indy seemed to be sellouts, and probably becuase of the rivalry factor. They have been the only games at home.. i got mcnair who is recognised as a "nfl icon" by madden... players like tom brady, lavar harrington, mcnabb, they are nfl icons.

as for sigining, i bet they do. When you resign a player, you can see what their prioties are (mcnairs was mainly teams talent level becuase he wants to win, but chris brown was more concerned with his importance to the team).

Isnt madden in turkey yet?

Het Matt, you should post your franchise at maddenmania.com too. We'd love to read it!

I just got the game today.

You should post your dynasty on Maddenmania, that is where I will likely start my dynasty, but not for a while. I'm at a friends right now and I will probably sleep here after his party so I won't install it until tomorrow. Then once I play for a while I will start it. Good luck on your dynasty man.

Ya, I won't start for a while, first I'm going to play a dyansty without posting it just to get excited :D. Then I'll try out some new things, so by then he will probably release his update.
