I think it's better than "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" it had a stronger thematic point and beautiful color-coordinated scenes.

Movies with subtitles IMO are hard to follow. I really didn't like it that much; I'm mostly into comedy movies, and the occasional LOTR, but otherwise, Hero didn't really appeal to me.

Overall: C

The same as Tony, I saw it a long time ago.
I would see it again but it's horrible quality on it.

But from what I can remember it was a realy cool movie.
Great fight scenes + great filmed + great music + great scenery = Great fight movie.
It won't get an Oscar for best movie, but it is defenettly one of the best fight movies in my book.

How come it wasn't released in the U.S. untill now anyway?
