I'm trying to get a transparent background on my sig (see below) but all I get is white. Can anyone help?

JPEG can't held transparency, you need to save your image with Photoshop or another image editor in gif or png format

I tried gif and it still didn't work but it was lower quality so I decided to use the jpg in the meantime.
