But sorry bro, king is still the king anyway for me. Madden rules ! Except Live, i dont play any game as much as madden. Also the thing you mentioned can be adjusted with sliders. And if ESPN was that great,SEGA wouldnt sell it for 19.99.

please do me a favor and see who has won every single year in just about every sports game on the reviews, ea or sega, i'll think you'll obviously be suprised. They didn't need to lower their price to win, they win every year, u know it only cost the companies the cost of a dvd-r to make, which is pretty cheap, the rest is all net profit, so instead of ripping us off like EA does, they thought they would bridge the gap and in turn sell a lot more and so far it's working, check the numbers. I don't work for sega and or ea. I think EA will come out a lot stronger for live with all the additions, at least i hope they will because it was like playing with cartoons in live and playing with digitized players in espn basketball, ever since dreamcast sega had dominated sports, just admit it.

never trust those reviewers, they even may have been paid. For example Live 2001 was supposed to suck but it's my favourite Live to date.

don't trust all the reviewers huh? So I should trust people that would love a game no matter how bad it sucked because of the developer? Reviews are the only thing we can go bye where u can get a good view of how a game is. If any of you guys can honestly tell me that the graphics and realism is better than espn in madden, then i'm gonna pretty much gurantee your the same people that think PS2's are better than Xbox's even though everyone in the world knows that's not true.

If you played on rookie mode and were up 14-7, you have a problem. Rookie mode is supposed to be easy. It's for rookies. So if you don't dominate rookie mode, you probably are either a rookie or you suck at the game. Or both. Either that, or rookie mode in ESPN is as hard for you as All-Madden in Madden is for me. I wonder what the other modes in ESPN are like?

ESPN has better graphics than Madden. I agree. Not a lot better, though.

With franchise, Madden owns ESPN.

As far as gameplay goes, Madden has better passing and rushing games.

That about covers it.

By the way, playing a game one time can't give you any idea of how good the game actually is.

And PS2 has a better game selection than XBox and you don't have to pay for internet services.

if a game isn't realisitc and doesn't play well, it's not gonna get better for me, i had my running back never get touched, the first play he ran for 81 yards, yeah that's realism and good gameplay :) Graphics are just a little better, hahahahahha, look again :)

This is a MADDEN thread, not a Madden vs. ESPN thread!!!!

Ok, I just got my game and I think its great...much better than ESPN

The passing is kinda hard, most any bad pass gets intercepted....I like the running game, its great.

Still having fun on 04. Waiting for the PC release. Just beat won a tight game 21-11 (closer than it sounds my last TD was with 2:30 left in the 4th.) I'm glad the passing game is harder this year. The slant is near unstoppable in 04, a double-edged sword. I heard that corners are fighting for the inside much better on slants and posts. Is that true from what you've seen?

On All-Madden, every corner turns into a Champ Bailey. Forget about the long pass. Lots of the time you dont really have to watch out for corners, its the LBs who get alot of tips and INTs. But I think its really better this year.

this espn nfl person and that one wit espn nba both have names with seemingly random letters and a few numbers. Why would anyone add random numbers when their names is already random enough? and that type of thing happens a lot..

I bought the game a week ago. So far there are still unfixed bugs from last year. However, they added some new features that you can have fun with for a few months.

I'm still having fun with 2004.

I found about the delayed release 4-5 days ago but forgot to post it.
