i fully agree that sales dont mean anything. some of the best games have not had great sales and on the other hand some incredibly bad games have had amazing sales. i am gonna personally back out of these Live vs ESPN talks for now and wait til both are released and take the wait and see approach.

You clearly missed out on the Dreamcast days of NBA 2K1 and 2K2 if you really think that Live has always been better. It wasn't even close during those years[/color]

Your right about that, i bought 2k1 and 2k2 rather than live 2001 and 2002, because, well, live sucked those two years. But recently i went back to play 2k4 and i couldnt stand it, i tryed 2k2 again and i liked it much better. In my opinion the gameplay from SEGA has gone downward...

every now and then though i take a year off from ea's series to play the espn series. madden for example, is the same game for the last 5 years it seems like with a few new features, so last year i stuck primarily with espn 2k4...I dont think i'll be doing that with live again though because i think theyve deffinatly been making improvements in gameplay and the areas i feel most important. i realize most hate this years dynasty mode, but does anyone remember 2003's, it was terrible...
