Well, first off you need to make sure the picture you are using is in one of those formats. Jpg(jpeg), bmp or gif.

These are file extentions, you can save pictures in these formats. You have to make sure the picture you're going to use has these as extensions. You can see what extention a file has by right-clicking and checking the properties of the picture.

Ok, I gather you want to know how to add an image in your signature + avatar. Let's start with the signature.

See there, my image is a file that's being hosted by Jae's photo-bucket. It's the Frank Castle thingie. Just upload your picture to a free host (make sure it's within limits) and just replace the url between the (img) tags with your own url.

Voila, you've given yourself an image in your signature. (Y)

Onto your display picture, that's pretty self explainatory though...

As I said, make sure you've got the right file extention, the correct sizings (file size too) & just upload it. Voila, you're done once again.

Wormy,

first you need a picture online, on a webserver. How to do that, just go to a free picture server (like http://www.freeupload.net/) and make sure you know the URL of that picture! (like www.freeupload.net/mypicture.jpg).

Then, to display the picture on the forum it's easy. Use a code like this:

Code: Select all

Ofcourse replace the location I used with your own picture's location.

This works in messages and also in your signature.

Hope that helps.
