Any thoughts? I know my inner child is giddy with excitement right now

Saw on NeoGAF that Activision still owns the IP, despite the rumors.

I mean, it'd be amazing to get an old school Crash game, but I'm not getting excited yet.

the only thing is Activision wouldn't just take down the site and get rid of the series like that. i mean even with tony hawk and guitar hero they still at least had press releases stating that there discontinued. so either there making a new one, its been bought, or they will release that its been canceled in the next coming days.

I was a Nintendo fanboy during that era, so I'll admit I've never played a Crash Bandicoot game and as such, I can't say I have strong feelings about the rumour either way. If it comes to pass, I guess I'll give it a passing glance to see what it's all about.

The game was an absurd amount of fun. I think you'd enjoy it even without the nostalgic component.
