yes, he's an ASSHOLE
on sunday we supposed to play indoor soccer and my friend was organizing it, we had the courts booked and everyone knew of the times....but what does my friends dad (I'll call him ASSHOLE out of frustration) do, he says no you can't go because i have plans for Sunday for the family
FUCK
this is not the first time either, always at the last moment ASSHOLE comes up with some plans for the family...as if they don't spend enough time with the family...they spend time at work as well. I haven't seen this friend in 8 months because ASSHOLE won't let him out of the house. Man that is not cool
ASSHOLE is old and a dumb shit with a carrot up his ass. His kids have no freedom. My friend hasn't seen anybody for 8 months, that's when he finished his last year of school. His dad makes him work and that's all. He does nothing but work....no fun....no soccer (which he loves), hec no beer or titties
So many times this has happened that ASSHOLE makes up bullshit plans for the family at hte last moment, it's frustrating

See, now the indoor soccer may not go ahead, which isn't the prob for me, but i invited other people as well and it's not cool to FUCK with them like that....my credibility with everyone i know will go down he drain if this shit don't go through.....i hate that ASSHOLE

That's a tough situation man! I have a friend who is in a similar situation - 19 years old and problems with his dad being too controlling and shit. We did a counselling session because I had to video tape a counselling session for uni and we discussed it and I got some insite into it. There's probably something you don't know. Is your friend an only child? Is his family in financial trouble? Is he aware that his father is an asshole?

Call up your friend and tell him there's an emergency... you need him right away, it's important. Then take him to the indoor soccer game

Sorry to hear it. Back in primary school one of my friends had a similar problem with his step-dad. He didn't say much about it, but I get the feeling it became quite ugly at times.
