Whitney Houston, 48, found dead in Beverly Hills
I'm not a fan and she's obviously done herself some damage over the years through drug abuse, but it's still a shame to hear it. Far too young.
Singer Whitney Houston, who reigned as one of the world's top pop stars in the 1980s and '90s but suffered from recurring bouts with drugs and alcohol, was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room Saturday.
Law enforcement sources told The Times that paramedics arrived at the Beverly Hilton hotel, where Houston was staying, and found her dead. Her cause of death was unknown, said the sources, who asked to remain anonymous because the investigation is ongoing.
Houston, 48, was in the Los Angeles area for a musical tribute for music executive Clive Davis and had performed earlier this week.

Really sad news. I wasn't a big fan, but there's no denying the talent she had.
Apparently Jennifer Hudson will be doing a tribute to her at the grammies. I'm hoping this will overshadow the fact that it's Chris Brown's first appearance since the Rihanna incident.

Far too young and RIP, though I don't like my Facebook full of her songs and people saying all of a sudden, that she was their favorite artist.

I learned that she died when someone mentioned it while playing TF2. Same deal with Kim Jong-Il.

I am a fan of hers since I grew up listening to her songs. There are people that shape up my life through their songs, and shes one of them.
Whenever I hear Whitney Houston's song being played, I remember those young years and without worries. It was sad to lose Micheal Jackson, and its definitely sad to lose Whitney Houston. There is a time for everything. A time to live and a time to die.
I just hope we accomplish what were here for, and not waste it. Rest in Peace Whitney
