Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

It is not REAL. I know that talking about politics doesn't fit here, but I want to tell my ideas. As I'm proud of being from Turkey, we didn't destroy Armenians. Research 1915 events at internet, you'll see that there is no Armenian genocide.

Don't worry, lots of people have already helpfully researched the "1915 events" [on] the internet:

You believe there is? We didn't kill them, we sent them to Armenia. Deaths happened on that event.

Yeah, that happens all the time to me, you're systematically marching some people of a specific ethnicity you have a problem with around at gun point, then things get out of control with some burnings and gassings, next thing you know a million people are dead. And then all the naysayers come along later calling it a "genocide" or a "holocaust" as if they never had a weekend gone wrong.

I'm ashamed of Badger.

That took you a while if this is just dawning on you.

Badger does have a point, which is one mustn't easily trust the French.

No argument there, we're almost as sneaky as the Canadiens, but not quite.
Wed Feb 01, 2012 3:51 pm
MY GOD, I JUST REALIZED THERE ARE FRENCH-CANADIENS! THE HORROR!
Wed Feb 01, 2012 4:37 pm
Whoa whoa whoa.
People that live in Canada and have a soul are called CanadiAns. People that live in Canada and speak french are called CanadiEns.
Side note: I am genuinely interested in what Badger does for a living. Also would like to hear what other people THINK Badger does for a living (as that's probably more interesting). I envision him either being a person that stuffs animals, or a Walmart greeter. Or both, but most definitely at least one of the two.

Are we animals?

Why do we get these random ass threads about countries no one cares about? I think we've had one about Greece or something before and there was that other one that's in HC somewhere
Sun Feb 05, 2012 2:48 am
Wasn't it about Albania? That dude was fucking crazy.
Sun Feb 05, 2012 5:20 am
i think badger is some sort of art student.
Sun Feb 05, 2012 5:46 am
I'm 15-16 years old.

or a Walmart greeter.
Wait a second...
There is a job where people greet walmarts?

France is considering a bill to make it illegal to deny the Armenian genocide. Badger is from a successor country in denial about their role in perpetuating the genocide, I assume it's one of the biggest stories there. Your equivalent in media attention would be like if there was a major knifey-spoony match happening in the Outback.

But we have bigger problems such as Van earthquake. That happened in October 2011 and people still stay at tents.
