EA NCAA Football 2011

Postby GoLowDrew on Thu Jan 26, 2012 4:55 am

Been playing NCAA (and Madden) Football on EA since....... So I'm actually pretty good at it (note: this is not to brag). I set the game up to give me a real competition. The scores to my games are like 34-27, 14-7, and sure there are also 21-0. Sometimes I win, sometimes I loose. Sometimes a bowl game at the end, sometimes not.

In summary, I make it as real as possible. This worked very well on the old games. Just got NCAA Football 2011.

On 2011, and I've been playing 2 seasons so far. Both seasons I have gone 12-0, only to get blow out at the Bowl games. I know each conference strength is difference, but still....

With two 12-0 seasons, I was even thinking of turing it down. If I do so, I would have NO chance at the bowl games. The bowl games are not even fun because the AI is that strong.

Any advice? And I don't want to keep chaning the sliders (rating-settings). It's a game, but I still want it to be fair.

TIA

if i'm not mistaken the games from 2k11 on have a difficulty that ramps up for post season play in NCAA and madden. Not alot of choice bud: either get better, or play a lower setting. What team are you using?

Hawaii Warriors. Yes, I know the WAC is consider weaker than like the Big East.

As of getting better. Let's say I was to get (even) better. Than the regular season would be no fun at all. I would blow the teams away. I don't mind a 12-0 season if I earned it, with tought games and close scores.

I just don't want 75-0 wins.

I would hate to adjust the settings for a bowl game.

Ah thats part of it then. I've noticed in the past if i use a non power conference team its like impossible to win when i go up against an SEC/Big 10 team. I dunno what else to tell you. Sounds like the jump for postseason is just too much. keep playing, make sure you're playing super intelligent ball, and youll start getting the wins.
