Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Metal Gear Solid is my faveorite series of all time and i will be buying 3 the day it comes out. Is there anyone else here planning to buy the 3rd or owns the 1st/2nd? (not counting the nes and gameboy ones...)

im looking forward to 3 but i don't have a console though so i guess ill have to wait a few more months for the PC version...

1 and 2 were great

do u think the main character's gonna be big boss? i'm expecting a lot of surprises ( eheheh ironic )...

A copy of the PS2 Demo was nicked by a couple of guys from E3 in San Jose, so expect to see it pretty soon>

yah theres beena whole lot of speculation and guesses. i've found some pretty strange people online who have forums dedicated to debating who the next character is going to be. i personaly am between big boss and solidus, theres been a recently released screen with the main character and an eye patch over his eye...so i'm thinking maybe its a flashback through solidus' life. also since in the second one there was mentioning of solidus in his war days that could be a hint....i'm hoping its big boss though, solidus would kinda suck since he is considered a villan (sp.) in the 2, though you can argue that his motives weren't evil....

i guess i'd agree. i almost bought a gamecube for the sole purposes of getting mgs: the twin snakes which is a remake of the first one cept with the gameplay and graphics of the second.....MGS 2: Substance which is an extended version of mgs 2 included extra features like VR training and going through the plant part with snake rather than raidon, so with that in mind i do like all the extras in mgs 2 a bit more in mgs 2, and the story line in both is awesome......i personally wasnt a fan of the intruduction of raidon in the 2nd though, i think that kinda brought the game down...i hated his outfit so much that i'd change it to the B.F.U. (if i remember right) army suit after getting it before every cut scene....

did you guys here about metal gear acid? was so hyped up about the graphics that i was sure i was gonna buy a psp. then i found out that acid is gonna be some turn-based tactical rpg hullabaloo...crap!

i never heard about acid....i may get it anyways just cuz its metal gear lol
