Stuttering Laptop Screen

The last few months, my laptop screen has progressively gotten worse and now it's to the point where it barely lasts a second without the screen stuttering. I was wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to fix this without having to buy a seperate monitor (or another laptop for that matter).

Stuttering? depends on what you mean by stuttering. Borrow/use a monitor and plug it in, see if the stuttering still exists. It probably will so then there is something wrong with the laptop itself
