Hey, if people start talking about Nazi's you might just all go and follow them again! It's for your own good that their noxious philosophy is kept from you! Better to not mention it than chance the idea that the entire population will suddenly mindlessly follow it again.

Yes and no. He was Austrian but claimed German citizenship.

PS: Interesting note about Hitler. He was born Austrian. His first seven attempts to become citizen of one of the german states were rejected. He became citizen of the "Free State of Braunschweig" in 1932 as there existed no German citizenship. Under his leadership a law was established in 1934 which founded German citizenship. In 2005 and 2007 attempts failed to strip German citizenship from him posthumously.
