McFarlane Sports Figurines

Does anyone else collect them? I myself started in '07 when I bought my Dwyane Wade figurine, after that I started buying boxes containing every figurine from each series in Basketball/Football/Baseball. I'm still trying to buy some that are NIB from other collectors just to have that satisfaction of having every figurine since series 1. It's put a dent in my pocket but it's well worth it in my opinion. It was my brother in law who got me into it. He has possibly every single figurine made by McFarlane, Upper Deck, etc.. THAT dude is a collector :?

If you've never seen the figurines, they sell them at your local Toys R Us or Gamestop (Don't know if they still do though) You can check out the list here

I'm going to see if I can get some pictures of my wall later (some figurines I buy doubles to open one and keep the other sealed. Then put them in a shelf in my room.

These are just photos found at the site for those who want to see how detailed they are.

Maybe it's the angle but D-Wade's face looks closer to Gary Payton or Rondo. Nonetheless I guess they are cool toys to collect. Perhaps I will check it out at the ToysRus sometime. Good stuff. (Y)

Well a lot of the McFarlane figures use the same figure but painted to a different player. The only figure I had was a John Leclair Philadelphia Flyers figure. I think I've seen a site that makes custom made figures.

I actually have that D-Wade one as well. I almost bought the Chauncey Billups one from 2010, but after he got traded to the Knicks, I decided not too. I almost bought that Shaq one off Amazon, but the shipping prices to Australia were ridiculous. I also wanted this one, but they wouldn't ship it to Australia :( :
