The only likable feature right now is Xbox Live integration (meaning you could play all the xbox 360 games on it probably), and right now I doubt it's in it.
Would be cool if I had a spare computer to test this out on. :(

No, that's not what it means, and that's not going to happen.

Lol @ the idea of them just eliminating the need to buy 360's.

I was going to install this over my current OS but then I read that would be a dumb idea so I'll just patiently wait for a version I can use.

Props for having the balls to make a fairly drastic change to the contemporary desktop OS, but I can't see the whole metro UI helping anyone but tablets, or those shity AIO PC's with touchscreens.

That said I look forward to giving this a shot on my HTPC, could work unreal on a bigscreen (Y)

I'm probably wrong but I read/saw a review of this that lead me to believe that whole interface thing was optional, sort of like the widgets in Windows 7 you can just disable it or not install it. It's definitely interesting but as you said fairly pointless for anyone with a mouse.

Weak. Windows 7 for touchscreen cpu's with a phone UI and some app dragging from the side one by one. Does everybody really have a-d-d nowadays?

Jae, that is optional. There is a regular Windows start menu taskbar on the bottom of the screen as always. And the mouse works better since you can actually preview those hidden apps by hovering your mouse on the edge, and then scroll. With using touch, you just have to drag each app into view.
