He's invoking the just-world theory, I take it?

No, he was noting in a side comment that it was a camp for kids centered around politics and in particular one political party.

I think they're mostly teenagers and young adults though, not necessarily "kids" but that's still around the same ages as the Hitler Youth.

The Socialist Youth are kinda the passive aggressive pussy version of the Hitler Youth and ONB. Kinda like "social-democracy" is the passive aggressive pussy version of fascism.

Most people don't watch Uwe Boll movies.

 No surprise there as I watched it just out of curiosity too. My friend told me it was one of the most disturbing movies.

"There was a shooting at a political camp, which sounds a little like the Hitler youth, or, whatever. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics. Disturbing," said Beck on his syndicated radio show.

...

The comments were condemned by Torbjørn Eriksen, a former press secretary to Jens Stoltenberg, Norway's prime minister.

Eriksen described the comment as "a new low" for Beck, telling the Daily Telegraph: "Young political activists have gathered at Utøya for over 60 years to learn about and be part of democracy, the very opposite of what the Hitler Youth was about. Glenn Beck's comments are ignorant, incorrect and extremely hurtful."

...

However, his latest comments about the "disturbing" nature of political youth camps may come as a surprise to Beck's followers in the Tea Party movement.

The anti-tax, anti-immigration movement has been holding summer camps in states including Florida and Missouri where children have been taught a curriculum based on God, the US constitution and "the defence of economic liberty".

Focus now. Focus on that psycho that did the killings and not some nut head like Glenn Beck.

No, Phil89 and the others are the "nutheads" here. (Phil because he didn't even bother to link.)

Political youth camps ARE disgusting. This camp was not about "democracy" (nothing someone should be proud of inherently) but instead part of an indoctrination to a terrible political party.

That's no justification to shoot them up or anything but they are still something to decry and condemn.

Then again if you're going to do something so terrible...
the US constitution and "the defence of economic liberty"

...this is terrible...why? One of the greatest documents of all time and the very essence of human liberty are not things to defend and learn about?

Note the fact that they don't connect Beck himself to any support of these media-declared "Tea Party movements" that have their own "camps" let alone any proof the "movement" is "anti-immigration" or anything else.

This is just nothing but ignorant hate-filled smearing of "the other," a very essential component of the fascist movement.

Something terrible has occurred, it is time to tar the enemy with it!
"Young political activists have gathered at Utøya for over 60 years to learn about and be part of democracy, the very opposite of what the Hitler Youth was about. Glenn Beck's comments are ignorant, incorrect and extremely hurtful."

Actually, considering this quote is even more laughable than I thought. It's NOT the VERY OPPOSITE, it's the same fucking thing. A political party indoctrinating youth to support their goals for the glory of The State. He's calling Glenn Beck, a piece of shit, ignorant and he doesn't even recognize it's the same fucking thing and that the Nazi Party was legitimately elected in a democracy?

Fuck off slaver.

Glenn Beck and Fox News are part of the reason America is so stupid.
