your best bet would be calling the local store but let me give you a concrete example

I traded in my Madden 11. I received 14.99 for it.

Currently on sale for: 55.99

PS2 games are usually 10 or less at the one here so yeah...Ratio it out.

as benji said. If you got more than 10-15 bucks i'd be shocked

youll be better off keeping everything, or attempting to sell it on ebay as a lot

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/cag ... do=tradein

that's your best bet.....I dont think youll get much more than $60 for the console + games
Opinions are my own.

They aren't even going to take half his games, all the sports and WWE ones as they probably already have a shit ton of them they won't ever be able to sell.

I'd have to second the suggestion of trying eBay, unless your local EB stores have any kind of deals going where you can trade in a PS2 and a bunch of games for a PS3/Xbox 360 and you have any interest in doing that. Even when it comes to rarer games, stores like EB and others that often advertise themselves as paying top dollar for trade-ins usually don't give great deals at all; after all, that's not how to make money dealing in second hand games.

Probably a bit late to be trading it in sorry. I traded in my PS2 for about $12 plus got about $10-$15 per game. This was back in 2006, when people would still buy second hand PS2's & PS2 games. These days I can pick up pre-owned PS3 games for $10 from EB & you can pick up some new "old" games for about $30. So you see, the PS2 no longer has trade-in value.
