Number 2 for me, too. If I were the coach, I don't think I can co-exist with a player like that. Despicable attitude.

If it were high school, I'd kick him off the team....

...but if it were professional, I'd like to keep my job, so I'd start him. It is a business...

Number 3.

There's no use benching your superstar, who's worked hard for the franchise for 6, 7 years.

Its the 6th game of the conference finals. Your team is the underdog but are leading the series 3-2. You are the best player on your team. In the 4th quarter of game 5 you went down with a sprained ankle. You had to come out and couldnt play the rest of the game.

Its hard for you to walk on it but you still can. The doctors say you could be out 2 weeks but game 6 is tomorrow. What do you do?

1.) Play on it in game 6.
2.)sit game 6 out and try and play in game 7.
3.)sit out both games and wait to see if you can play (if your team wins) in the Finals.
4.) Sit out the rest of the post season or until you are 100%.

I'd probeblly chose no.3

I know how a spained anke feels like. I had it about 3 months ago, I didn't do anything about it, so it got worse.
And now I'm still out injured from it. I'm seeing a physiotherapist and the foot is getting better...
I wouldn't wanna risk my health for the long-term, so i'd probeblly stay on the somewhat safe side.

I probeblly couldn't contribute that much when injured anyway.
On the contrary, I would probeblly slow down the play to much and make it more adaptet to me, witch wouldn't be good for my team.

I'd take number 2.

Ive played through a minor sprain, but even that hurt heaps and i ended up making it worse sitting out about 2-3 weeks.
so i'd rest game 6 then suck it up and gut it out for game 7.

you can play with a swollen ankle??
i'd take #3... if i would be limping up and down the court..... wtf am i doing there? a healthy 6th man would be better than a limping superstar right?

#1. I've actually played with a sprained ankle... hurt like... I can't tell you... and I sucked. But I would try to play. I would be open to sitting if I am hurting the team (which I probably would.)

It really depends on how severe the injury was... But i'd probably choose #2 and hope my team wins game 6. If they don't i'd start in game 7, and play limited minutes.

I'd pull a Willis Reed and limp out for game 6. Take one for the team.
