I've had this game for like a week now, not bad i have to say.
I like it a lot more than nba live, i dunno, live it was easy to score, even on the high difficulties, and in mm, there seems to be a lot of ways to score, but also a lot of ways to defend,
i felt that live's crowd was enthusatic, but nowhere near the kind of mm, in mm the crowd chant all sorts of stuff, including go *teamname* and go team, miss, and all that stuff.
mm does have probs, they have almost no freshmens, art bowers of umass #9 recruit in the nation is not in. 2/4 of KU's freshmen are not in. sliding is not a factor too much, and the commentary is interesting. i really like it, and am looking foward into getting my graduating class onto live.

It seems like the exported draft classes are messed up. Since there's no change of position...you get tons of 6'8" centers and other undersized guys. Also...they're rated WAY too high in Live. They should all be curved down at least 10-15 points. Our top 2 draft picks were an 87 overall and an 85 overall...and teams were getting guys rated in the high 60's in the second round.
If I could...I would global edit everyone in this game and cut 10 points from all of their ratings...then you could just up the sliders to get similar gameplay.
One good thing though...you get rookies with realistic numbers and ratings that actually have some logic (even though the players are rated too high...you can get a guy with great leaping who actually has great dunking etc...)

I am not the biggest fan of March Madness because I think its the same thing. But I liked NCAA 2k4 cuz it had a dunk contest. It was awesome. But the gameplay aint everything on it like the live series has!

I got MM for Christmas. I havent tried to import the draft class yet, but I will after I get my sharkport. I'll edit the players ratings so its realistic.
But in with March Madness. I kinda like it better than live. Its more fun and entertaining. You dont have to edit the sliders as much to get a decent game. The tempo is great.

And when you press it brings more strategy to the game. The crowd is awesome too. The keep you in the game and in that college bball frenzy.

there's generally good opinion bout MM2004, more than Live 2004
i think its because people have less expectations bout gameplay in MM2004, coz its not yet in the pro ranks. so you expect more gfastbreaks dunks, etc.
as for Live, people expect it to be the best because NBA is supposed to play the best brand of basketball in the world, offense wise and defense.

Could someone upload March Madness 2004 to this post. I've been dying to play it but I don't have enough to buy it. Thanks in advance.
