To you rap fans..

Check out the new Pac and Biggie song titled "Runnin" produced by Eminem.

Say what you say about him but Eminem is really putting it down for the rap game right now and this is a tight track.

i wasnt really feelin the beat, but biggie lyrics was off the chain
to me most of eminems beats sound alike
they need to remix that joint

In a way they do sound alike, they're all pretty much slow and kinda boring. But I'd take this beat over the beat he did for Nas on the God's Son album.

Nice lines by BIG when he was like "Running from the cops can you believe that? I'm too fat, fuck around and catch a asthma attack"

Dawg Runnin is old as fuck. Maybe you've heard a newer version but the first Runnin was done in the early 90's with the Outlawz and some Reggae guy(I think Supercat?) Em damn sure didn't produce that

However Biggie rips that sh!t crazy. If you wanna hear another Biggie 2Pac collabo, check out "Madison Square Garden Freestyle" on Biggie's latest bootlegged album in the streets called "Starring The Black Frank White. That sh!t is ugly.

Also for a tight 2Pac and Eminem collabo when was was actually alive and Em was an underground emcee at the time check out...Sh!t I forgot tha name but that joint is so fuckin hot it makes no sense. Do a search for Eminem & 2pac on Kazaa or something to find the song. I think they might have a remix on the "Numixxx" 2Pac CD coming this month.

We're talking about diffrent tracks, here's the article:

"Earlier this year we heard Eminem rhyme over one of Tupac's beats. Now the deceased hip-hop rebel is rapping over one of Slim Shady's tracks.

Eminem recently completed production of "Running (Dying to Live)," the first single from the upcoming "Tupac: Resurrection" soundtrack. In addition to the verse from Pac, the record includes a Notorious B.I.G. rhyme for the first verse. We'll post the song tonight in the audio section.

"Check it, I grew up a f---in' screw-up," Biggie says on the song. Later he raps about wanting to be the "the black Frank White," a nickname he adopted, and continues his assault.

"Run from the police/ Picture that n---a/ I'm too fat," he barks. "I f--- around and catch a asthma attack."

Em constructed the beat with hammering piano chords, violins and bass. The King of Detroit also sampled blues-rocker Edgar Winters' "Dying to Live" for the chorus: "Why am I fighting to live, if I 'm just living to fight?/ Why am I trying to see, when there ain't nothing in sight?/ Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try?/ Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?"

Tupac rounds the record off with his militant street-soldier poetry. "A couple of movies now the whole world trying to screw me," he says. "Even the cops tried to sue me/ So what can I do, but stay true sippin' 22s of brew…/ Misery is all I see, that's my mind state ..."

"Running (Dying to Live)" isn't the only record Eminem produced for the "Tupac: Resurrection" soundtrack, according to an Interscope Records spokesperson, who would only add that the soundtrack will also include songs from Pac that tell a chronological story of his life and career.

The "Tupac: Resurrection" soundtrack comes out on November 4 and features four new Tupac songs in all as well as a slew of his greatest hits. The film that inspired the soundtrack hits theaters on November 14."

TRUST ME...Running Is a very old track. Eminem probably took the only track and threw his own beat over it with the same lyrics and everything. Trust Me though...Runnin is old and has been on the net for a while. However I am interested hearing ems beat and you guys have given it nothing but positive vibes.

What else is on the resurection soundtrack? I know they have the Death Row Presents 2Pac Nu-Mixx Klazzic slated to come out later this month but I dont know 2 much about the resurection tape. But again I will tell ya, Runnin is OLD

I think I heard what y'all talkin bout. On the running track is the chorus a female sayin "Your runnin yah, your running yah..."

If so Em aint produce that its the same old runnin song they just removed the reggae guy and put a female chorus.

Yeah "ThisIzAJackMove" is right, I even got that track, I would guess it is from the early 90s.

The course goes like this:
"You runnin and you runnin and you runnin away
(situation kinda tired for ya)
You runnin and you runnin and you runnin away
(situation kinda tired for ya)
You runnin and you runnin and you runnin away
(Yo, I might be innocent but I still keep runnin
thats fuckin, im bein chased by the war catch dream)"

BTW Dramacydal is involved in that song, is that were you got your name from Dramacydal?

Tue Oct 07, 2003 4:40 am

yup, Dramacydal was kinda the old version of The Outlawz, most of the Outlawz were members of this group before eg Yaki Kadafi and Kastro (called K-Dogg back then)

Ok.

in a matter of fact you can kind of hear the reggae guy at the end of 2Pacs verse. You wouldn't notice it if you haven't heard the original song though. You can hear him say "I Bust Off" kind of underlaping 2Pac last words on his verse then the newer chorus cuts in.

I think in the original the reggae guys chorus goes...

I bust off! What about the time they pull me from the Bronco
lay, they tried to cock me, but them can't gun store
When a batty bwoy do it from the mob
Ahh, pull up your pants then you screw an left squad
Look around, look around, punk police
While gwan man doesn't a come but a bad boy test
Look around, look around, punk police
Me hafta blast back, cause de blast is best

I ound out his nmame is Don garcon

Is Tupac Ressurection a double disc? The reason I'm asking is because I bought what was supposedly the album from a convience store that sold burnt CD's and it didn't have the track Running on that bitch. It had 30 tracks altogether and it had too many rappers on it giving shout-outs for it not to have been from the album.

Tue Nov 11, 2003 6:25 am

nope definetly not... check out Tupac-Resurrection 4 info
