E3 2011 Discussion

Anyone else paying attention to the news as it flows in?

So far the Xbox has Halo 4, Halo 1 Remake, and some Kinect stuff outted by their website.

Sony is getting hacked again I guess.

Nintendo is supposed to have a new console for us.


M$ conference begins in 15

I'm hoping that Konami and Ubisoft will give great presentations like they did last year.

Apart from checking for anything news related to NBA 2K for the site, I'm not following anything particularly closely. If anything catches my eye in the NLSC's Twitter feed or someone posts something here I'll check it out.

Halo 1 getting remade for November. Halo 4, 5, 6 coming starting next year. Battlefield 3 Open Beta in September. Forza 4 looks amazing.

UbiSoft did alright, no laser tag or scary dance offs though.

Konami isn't having a conference, they did a taped thing last week that sucked.

Got distracted by classes today so havent seen much but nothing so far that I have to get.

7:50 - Fan question (surprisingly, not from me) asking if the FIFA/Madden impact engine will be in NBA 13. He didn't confirm but said they the look at the other EA franchises and look to incorperate what they do across all EA Sports games....so, yes? maybe? please?

PS3 wins for making Kobe show up. Hilarious.

Can't wait to see more from TES: Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and Batman: AC. I also did not know that there was a Far Cry 3 being worked on, and hopefully there will be more footage from Dead Island, Bioshock: Infinite, Rage, Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Metro 2034. I guess it'll be interesting to see more greatness from Battlefield 3 as well, but I probably won't play it anyway if it's exclusively multiplayer.
All in all, it's a pretty badass E3 as far as PC gaming is concerned, couldn't give a fuck about the rest.

It's not, even though that's the best part. It has a single player mode that's supposed to be longer than BC2's.

I've a feeling that ME3 is more inclined to a shooter than an RPG.
