So who is going to or has played a prank for April Fools Day?
I changed my birthday to April 1 on facebook and hoping people fall for it. One person has already figured it out but he was fooled for 10 minutes.

at the office we got the bell rigged to go off whenever we press a button, it's going to drive our secretary nuts, she hates that thing with a passion.....although she is pregnant so Im going to have to watch out for violent return fire.
I was going to hook up a wireless mouse to one of my co-worker's computers and just move and make firefox pop up and stuff but his grandmother died last week, and the other grandmother actually died today so he is off limits tomorrow.
So I'll probably just do the mouse trick to my direct boss, without telling him of course. I do it to him when Im pissed at him sometimes. But he's old and can't figure it out.

It's well past 12 where I am so the opportunity has passed. I haven't bothered to try and trick anyone in years though and I must confess I don't have any good April Fools stories. I do have a Simpsons reference though.

"From this day, I be requiring hairnets."

Andrew, that 12 o'clock rule... I don't get it. A prank is a prank whether it is done before or after midday so how does the joke turn on you? My mate and i were discussing this and we decided it was bogus so I'm only going to reveal the joke, to people on facebook, about my birthday tonight.

It's just one of the accompanying traditions, part of the fun/challenge of the day. You've got to get someone before midday and if they're going to get you back, they've only got until midday too so there's a "ticking clock" for everyone involved. If you can make it to midday without being had, you earn bragging rights. I see where you're coming from though.

I got fooled by youtube this morning. Everything was upside down, and thought, "WTF is wrong with my settings?".

Just told my parents about my "sick" joke. They didn't take it so easily...

If you work in an office with computers, these could work.
The easiest way to get a coworker at an office is to switch the "N" and "M" keys on their computer's keyboard. Another good one is to fuck their mouse settings up and switch the left and right click actions. An annoying one is to add the windows beep noise to every single action that it can be added to.
A great one is to take a screenshot of the desktop, then close explorer and the task manager and hide all the desktop icons then make that screenshot that background image. They will be clicking forever.

I always do that to desktops not my own.
That mouse thing gets added in my list.
