Does it shock?

It's high probability it's not the forums. Software conflict might be the problem with your rig. I doubt it's that bad as to require tech support.

The only changes we've made is adding some new ad banners for our new host. Perhaps you've got an ad blocker in place that's causing problems with our ads in Firefox and causing the lockup?

Happens to me now also, but it's when I visit the forums not the main page.
I'm using IE 7. NLSC seems to be the only site where the lockup happens while the other sites that I visit causes no problems.
It says something about a script in Adobe Flash Player 10? that slows down the browser, I'm guessing it's related to the ads that causes the lockup.

We had some issues with a couple of the UGO ads but I've been told they've been fixed up now.

If it's fixed how come it's showing ads for one of the worst films in cinema history, Kevin Costner's Waterworld?

Fri Oct 31, 2008 6:25 pm

I had the same issue with it saying Adobe can't open a file, and then it would freeze.

It's the one ad. At least that other one is gone.

That's just one of life's mysteries.
