Other Games Stories Combined With Dynasty Stories...

Like the title says, the two forums should be combined, as the Video Games Stories section gets little to know exposure in comparison to the Dynasty Stories area, despite essentially being the same thing.

Just my $0.02, but I think plenty of others would agree with me on this, and I doubt anybody would mind the change.

You'll forgive me if I'd like to hear some more opinions before we go ahead and make that change but I definitely see your point. We have a couple of modifications lined up that might better accommodate that idea but we're holding off on them until we can get these server issues fixed up (which should also finally resolve the issue with signatures, too).

In the meantime, if anyone else has an opinion on this by all means let us know.

I think the reason the other games stories get so little exposure is because of the lack of material in there.

Personally I'd keep it the way it is, it is more organised that way.

another solid reason is its so far at the bottom of the forum

This is a site for NBA Live thus NBA Live Dynasty stories gets more exposure.
No one goes to an NBA Live site to read about videogame baseball stories.
The Other Game Stories section is only another cherry on the icing (what?) for regular members to share and visitors to see what other games the members are interested in.

In summary, I like it the way it is. Even if it is at the bottom of the forum.

So if NBA Live is stopped in 3 or 4 years this site goes down?

It could transform into another specific videogame oriented site or another videogame basketball site or just basketball or videogames in general.

"The Katamari Damacy Center" or "Guitar Heroes Series Center" is a possibility.

Combining the two sections could get more people to read the other game stories. On the otherhand, video game stories doesn't really have to be full of topics that are progressive stories. Threads can be like "Look what I did in Halo!", etc.

Who sais NBA Live is going to be stopped? They are just going to change the name like they did with baseball, and you will know it when "NBA Live Basketball" gets released without a year in the title. Then they will release the game with the same year in the title rather then the next year (08 released in 07, etc). It will be like Triple-Double Basketball or something.

Just wondering but why not accept NBA 2K games? I know they arent Live games but I mean isn't this is a basketball forum? NBA 2K, from what I know, is indeed that so I just think maybe 2K games should have a spot in the NBA Dynasties section.

Now that would really make the Video Game Stories deserted, even more so than now.

But couldn't it be possible to merge the Video Games Central and Stories together? Just a possibility.

thats what im talking about, well i mean, i dont get the whole baseball thing in an nbaliveforum but i mean just combine the two sections and have different stickied sections for each sport.

Sticking sections for each sport? No, that's even stupider than combining the two sections. This is a NBA Live website, the rest is just bonus for those people who become "regulars".

I assume if you combined Video Games Central and Stories, then people would ask why the 2K "stories" weren't just in the 2K thread, etc. al.

There are tons of bigger issues to tackle on the forum than the lack of interest in Video Games Stories/Chatrooms.
