What you see here...is well...dead.

But the site is not.

There was change. Evolution, revolution. With the first. This was just a new coat of paint temporarily.

Other projects stillborn. 07 murdered the rest.

And now for something a little different.

Next gen is current gen, and we are stuck in last gen.

I'm confused by this message.

Either Benji or Dmit could have written it. It means that they are done with Live, because they are through with all of EA's bullshit.

I think a lot of people here have been hoping this site would shift towards the NBA 2k series. What does this mean? I have no idea since I dont follow NBA Live, but perhaps someone else knows?

That in itself boggles the mind, who in their right mind would expect a site named NBA-LIVE.Com to shift its focus to the 2K series? Thats like the latino community complaining that the USA's national anthem is sung in English. That really happened, too.

Sigh. First of all, it used to be nbalive.org not nba-live.com. Second of all, we changed the domain name to nbavg(as in video games).org

that sounds like Ben talking in that message. Especially in the next-gen/current-gen argumeent that gives him a great case. nevertheless, he would be the one to ask.

I miss their old forum.
They had a good amount of information and patches that aren't at the NLSC.

It's a good thing to do. EA Sports has been consistently putting out shitty Live products since 2001, and they have trouble understanding what good gameplay means for the past seven years. I don't have much hope for Live 08, but until they're able to make at least a decent game, I hope their entire production team gets fired.

Its strange because they put so much work into FIFA and Madden. Both of those games have so many awesome features that if implemented in NBA Live would make it an incredibly better game.

^ Well, that's actually because FIFA and Madden aren't made by the same crew that makes Live.
