yup..bad cutting..but i know u can polish it up a bit.. but the blending looks nice..

if you want a clean cutting herse's my style:

1. open the pic of the player that you want to cut out

2. using lasso tool draw an selection on him don't exert too much effort on drawing an selection just encircle him it doesn't need to be the exact selection cus the third step will make the slection look good

3. zoom in. and when your comfortable again use the lasso tool while holding alt to remove the selection that is too far from the outlines of his body

4.after that feather the selection by 2px and then contract by 1px

5. select inverse then delete

6. your done

note: if this is not clear i'll make a tutrial with pics :)

My favorite way of cutting is using the pen tool to go around the player, setting the path to selection, then copying and pasting it onto a new document. Then you go Layers>Matting>Defringe to lose some spots you may have missed or to get rid of the black/white lining. It takes time, but it's a really clean cut.

I used the lasso up until recently when I finally felt confident using the pen tool.

Heres my shot at a jersey switch:

guys..can u try a kobe bryant in a bulls number 23 jersey...

Mon Jun 04, 2007 5:37 am

@ courtney, you really nailed those. The Carter one is amazing. Lebron is awesome too except for his jersey looks too small on him.

courtney, VC's head and arms are too big in relation to his body ;) its a good start tho...

courtney..try making the jersey more smaller coz it looks really big on KG which eventually makes him look thin..

Tue Jun 05, 2007 9:47 am

Wow these are some great jersey switches.

I like courtney's VC switch.

Anyone want to attempt to put Oden in a Blazers Jersey??

Tue Jun 05, 2007 4:25 pm

Thanks Elbeen. I just checked it out. Best jersey switch I have seen yet!

Btw, I have searched all over this forum and I can't find a detailed jersey switch tutorial with pics and everything. I found one tutorial but it wasn't in-depth enough and I couldn't understand it. So if anyone has enough spare time to decide to do one, I will be very grateful. Or if there already is a good jersey switching tute could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks..

Tue Jun 05, 2007 7:46 pm
